Best kept secret in Sutton’s Bay ! We stopped here while on a bike ride. My wife and I each enjoyed an incredible latte and shared one of their strawberry rhubarb waffles. To quote my wife “ I think this is the best latte that I’ve had in my life”. The waffle was beyond belief it was so good. Nice time we ride from Traverse City we will start earlier and enjoy an entire lunch meal here. And…the staff were amazing too.

I really can't say enough great things about Hive Coffee! My husband and I stopped in while visiting Sutton's Bay last week. The coffee and loose lea tea were very high quality, which honestly isn't all that common to find. The owner and baristas were super friendly and knowledgeable. And the environment was so cozy and inviting that we ended up staying for a couple hours to read there. There's even a garage door that opens up on nice days to give an amazing indoor-outdoor feel, which let in a really nice breeze. Really hope we get the chance to visit again!

I am so glad Hive found it's way to Suttons Bay! It was the location of one of my favorite places to stop for coffee previously, and so when it stayed a coffee shop I was so happy to visit. Their coffee and espresso are so high quality, and they are always thinking up and crafting new drinks for each season - honestly each one has been a hit. Landon the owner is great, and so is their staff. We opened a new coworking space down the road and our members - both locals and seasonal residents - have absolutely loved having proximity to such a great coffee shop. We highly recommend a visit if you're in Suttons Bay!

Coffee was great, matcha was not should’ve tried the yuzu refresher. But the place is very cute and right in downtown Sutton’s bay!

Wonderful baristas, cheerful and willing to try a new latte my daughter wanted. Also, the muffins were awesome, both in looks and taste!

“Excellently good!” is how my husband described his vanilla latte! I got the brown sugar sage latte and loved every sip! It’s SO cute in this little coffee place!! Even in the freezing cold it’s still cozy and inviting! The owner was telling us that the team members have to pass the “Bar Exam” before they can even steam the milk for lattes! They take their coffee seriously and you can taste it! They have a garage door that they open when it’s warmer and we can’t be back in July when they’re able to use it.

Lovely coffee spot in Suttons Bay. The blueberry scone was delicious, as was the bacon scone. The coffee tasted wonderful as well. No misses at all, definitely deserves the high rating it has! Would return in a heartbeat!

Sutton’s Bay is so blessed to have such an amazing coffee shop in the heart of downtown. My favorite is the Miel. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. There is always a line, but never a long wait. The molasses cookies are a special treat if you can get one before they sell out.
